Romansleigh is easily reached from the M5, just leave at junction 27 and take the A361 for about 30-minutes. The site is about three and a half hours from London by car, and under two hours from Bristol.
The park is best found by continuing on the A361 towards South Molton, taking the B3227 into South Molton, and then turning onto new road. Follow this road through Alswear for just over 4 miles and there is a sharp turning on the right, called Partridge Hill. Take an immediate left up Odam Hill and follow the road to the retreat.
The nearest train station is half an hour away in Barnstaple, a half hour taxi ride from Romansleigh. There are regular services to Exeter, which has excellent connections to London, the South West, and even as far as Scotland, giving visitors the option to arrive by train.
Another option is to arrive at Exeter Airport, which has flights to London City taking just over an hour. From here, you can hire a car and drive to Romansleigh. This is the ideal option for those who want to miss the traffic.
